Welcome!
Greetings to the Heathmont Uniting Church Community. This is the first of a series of emails which you will be receiving over the coming weeks.Each Sunday's Sermon and Prayers of the People may be heard - see Sermons and Prayers tabs to the left.
Church Office
The Church Office will be open on Tuesday mornings between 10am and 12 noon. You can leave a message on the answering machine, which will be listened to regularly. It is imperative that everyone does as much as possible to stay safe and healthy during the present situation. You can take some simple measures by:- Staying home as much as possible
- Limiting travel to necessary purposes (shopping, medical appointments) and exercise
- Exercising at a large park or reserve where you can stay 1.5 meters apart from other people is ideal
- Wash your hands frequently
- If you sneeze, use a disposable tissue or sneeze into your elbow. wash your hands thoroughly afterwards.
- Avoid touching your mouth, nose, eyes, and face as much as possible
- Avoid unnecessary physical contact with others

I Need A Prayer!
If you would like prayers spoken for a particular person or issue, please let me know and I will include these in each week's Prayers of the People. Keeping one another in our prayers is an excellent way for us to continue our shared lifetogether, even in these times of "social distancing".
In the meantime, I attach a link to the Sacred Space daily prayer site, which is a ministry of the Irish Jesuits. It's an excellent resource which can be used either on a daily basis, or you can dip in and out as you need it.

Sunday KUCA
There is no Sunday KUCA at present.
During 10:00 service Children commence worship with the Congregation and then leave for their groups. During Communion services the children commence their gr and join the Congregation for the Communion part of service.
